From Providence Rhode IslandComments about Visbiome Vet Probiotic for PetsMy 12 year old cat whose had been battling severe intestinal issues along with heart issues now has normal bowel functioning with the use of vet visbiome and an organic psyllium prebiotic. Initially I started giving my cat visbiome and organic psyllium twice a day and have been able to cut back now to once per day unless he has a brief relapse and then I return to twice a day until stool is firmed. I was so impressed with this product's success in reducing the inflammatory process that I ordered the human probiotic version to treat my IBS. Well worth the price! Kidney values on my cats labors has also improved -
Visibome
From UndisclosedComments about Visbiome Vet Probiotic for Pets 40 CapsulesOur Havanese has been on Vibiome about two weeks. We are working up to the recommended dose still, but she seems to be doing really well with it. Our vet had us add this along with a new diet for her continually upset stomach. We have had no problems, and I feel good knowing that she is getting something that is helping her stomach heal from inflammation, and help her digestion. -

I saw the comment about possibility of bloating..is this the same as the dangerous bloat that can be fatal? And dos this require a Vet prescription??
-
The manufacturer states your pet may experience bloating during the first few days after starting Visbiome as your pet’s intestinal microflora changes. If this occurs, your pet may need to reduce daily consumption to allow for adjustment. Please consult with your pet’s veterinarian if your pet experiences bloating. Visbiome Vet Probiotic for Dogs is an over the counter item that does not require a prescription. It can be recommended by veterinarians for use.

What does the temperature sensor mean? Do these work? I left my temperature sensor out, and none of the dots became red. Is my sensor defective? Is my Visbiome still good??
-
Visbiome Vet is shipped with this temperature sensor in a cooler to guarantee your order did not experience elevated temperatures during shipping. The dots will become irreversibly red if the temperature rises above 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius). It appears your order was not compromised when delivered and should be stored in the refrigerator at 39-46°F. Visbiome Vet is stable at room temperatures for up to a week without affecting potency.

The red censor works. We tested it on our front west exposure porch. It went red. Visbiome does a fantastic job packing and delivering their product. Our guy had chronic diarrhea. We had extensive testing with no results. Visbiome worked within two days!

If I need to give my pet more than 1 capsule a day do I give them at the same time or does it matter??
-
According to the manufacturer, more than one capsule can be given at the same time. For smaller dogs, the total daily dose can be separated to allow them to get used to it. The probiotic can cause bloating. As the dog adjusts to the product, the total daily dose can be given all at once. Medium and large dogs do not usually have an issue with larger doses.
Verified Answer -
You can try one in the morning, and one at night first. Then combine them as you see your pets tolerance.
