Great experience
I found this company when my dog was diagnosed with Cushing's Syndrome. The medication through the vet was so expensive each month. This is the same medicine but costs less. They are courteous and quick in the delivery. I am thankful to have this option.

HIGH PRICE
The price for Vetoryl ( 30 capsules / 30 mg) is higher here than at my vet. Normally when you buy online, the companies have many more customers and get better prices from the drug vendors than any small veterinarian. This is not the case on Vet Direct RX. Each box is $11.00 cheaper at my vet's office.

My dog is prescribed 50 mg. His weight is 125 lbs. Is the best way to get that amount with 1 30mg and 2 10mg ??
-
Brand name Vetoryl oral capsules are available in doses of 10 mg, 30 mg or 60 mg. Administering one 30 mg capsule along with two 10 mg capsules is one option for providing your dog with their prescribed 50 mg dose. VetRxDirect is able to compound a 50mg capsule of trilostane, the active ingredient in Vetoryl with a prescription from your veterinarian. Discuss with your veterinarian the option to compound the 50mg strength of trilostane to determine if this would be appropriate for your dog.

MY DOG ACCIDENTLY TOOK A 10 MGS CAPSULE OF VETORYL THAT MY DOG WITH CUSHINGS DISEASE TAKES. WILL IT HURT HER??
-
A 10 mg capsule should have little effect since this is a low dose but this will depend on the size of the dog that took the dose. Monitor your pet for side effects such as prolonged tiredness, weakness, vomiting and diarrhea and report these symptoms to your veterinarian as soon as possible. Thank you, VetRxDirect
