Great experience
I found this company when my dog was diagnosed with Cushing's Syndrome. The medication through the vet was so expensive each month. This is the same medicine but costs less. They are courteous and quick in the delivery. I am thankful to have this option.

HIGH PRICE
The price for Vetoryl ( 30 capsules / 30 mg) is higher here than at my vet. Normally when you buy online, the companies have many more customers and get better prices from the drug vendors than any small veterinarian. This is not the case on Vet Direct RX. Each box is $11.00 cheaper at my vet's office.

Keeping our dog well
From UndisclosedComments about Vetoryl (trilostane) 5mg, 30 CapsulesOur "Sr" Jack Russell was diagnosed with Cushing about 1 1/2 yr. ago. The Vetoryl has kept his cortisol levels in a safe range, being monitored by blood tests and the dosage changed as needed. He's still our sweet pup.-

I would buy this product again and again!
From UndisclosedComments about Vetoryl (trilostane)My Bam Bam is 14 years old. He was diagnosed with Cushing's, kidney failure, and heart murmur. I was very scared giving him this medicine but it turned out to be like a miracle-worker! Bam Bam's tail has been down for months, a few days after he received Vetoryl his tail has been up. Inion, he started running on our walks! It's been over a week and I am so happy to see him doing so well. Bam Bam is my baby, my life, my everything. I cannot imaging life without him and I am going to do everything possible to keep him with me for as long as I can.-

Keeping our pup healthy
From UndisclosedComments about Vetoryl (trilostane)Diego, our 14 yo Jack Russell has been on Vetoryl 2x/day for 6 wk for Cushings, which is a terrible condition for dogs, and very stressful for dog "parents". The symptoms are very hard to manage and until he was diagnosed with X-ray, ultrasound and lab, we really couldn't help him. Once he started 10 mg AM and 5 mg PM, we noticed an improvement in his symptoms beginning on day 3 or 4 and he is now probably at his "normal" again. He will be monitored with lab on a regular basis for rest of his life because the dosage has to be carefully monitored. The Med is costly, as name brand is recommended, but if we get to keep our furry guy longer, then that's what we'll do.-
