What are SOL-M and SOL-Vet U-100 Insulin Syringes for Dogs and Cats?
- Insulin is a hormone that is naturally produced by the pancreas to convert sugar (glucose) in the blood to energy for the body.
- Diabetic animals are either unable to produce their own insulin or cannot use it properly.
- Insulin injections help treat diabetes in cats and dogs by normalizing the glucose level in the blood.
- Insulin syringes are necessary for administering this important drug.
- U-100 insulin is divided into 100 dosing units per milliliter.
- U-100 insulin syringes are designed to inject U-100 insulin types, such as Basaglar, Humalog, Humulin, Lantus, Levemir, NovoLog, and Novolin.
- SOL syringes allow for easy, accurate dosing with half-unit, bold dosage markings and a transparent barrel.
- Needles are ultra-sharpened for injection comfort.

Caps are off before i even open the bag
From Grand Rapids MIComments about SOL-VET U-100 Insulin SyringesThe caps were off of half the syringes I bought and poking through the bag so they were extremely dull and I couldn't use them. Most of the caps don't even stay on the syringe because they don't fit snug enough. -

From UndisclosedComments about SOL-VET U-100 Insulin SyringesNeedles are fine and just the right length for subcutaneous application. -
I have bought this item twice and will be purchasing more.
From UndisclosedComments about SOL-VET U-100 Insulin SyringesI buy these syringes to inject my male cat with insulin. He rarely feels the injection which makes this twice-a-day job easier. The syringes are good quality as I see my vet uses them also. My only complaint is that I do find one or two per box where the needle is bent and unusable.-

love the 1/2 unit measurement lines
From UndisclosedComments about SOL-VET U-100 Insulin Syringes1/2 unit dosage lines are really great for administering precise amounts. However some of the lines were obscured by drops of glue, that is the only reason I am giving this 4 stars rather than 5. -
