What is MotaZol Otic Suspension for Dogs and Cats?

  • MotaZol is a prescription ear medication for dogs or cats that treats otitis externa, outer ear infection, caused by yeast and bacteria.
  • MotaZol contains gentamicin, mometasone, and clotrimazole - an antibiotoc, an anti-inflammatory steroid, and an antifungal.
  • MotaZol works by killing infection causing bacteria and yeast in the ear and reducing the swelling and redness often associated with ear infections.

How do you use MotaZol?

  • Shake well before use.
  • Prevent your dog or cat and other animals from licking or grooming the treated ears for at least 20 to 30 minutes after application.
  • Wear gloves or wash your hands immediately after handling the medication.
