Every tube of Entederm I've had has split on the side about halfway through the use so the pint comes out of the packaging when I'm trying to use it. Does anyone else have this issue? Is this a manufacturing defect? I feel like it's compromising the quality of the ointment and i don't want to use something that isn't clean. But I don't want to throw it away when it's only half used!?
-
We have not received any complaints from customers, or notices from the manufacturer about problems with the Entederm tubes. You may want to reach out to the manufacturer to ask about the issues that you are having. VetOne’s contact information is: Customer Service: 888-694-8381, Website: http://www.vetone.net

I was told to use a cone on my cat while using this, if it harmful to my cat if I take off her cone after a few hours and she possibly licks it??
-
EnteDerm Ointment is formulated as a topical medication and should not be orally ingested. The primary concern if your cat is licking at the site of application is that the cat will remove the medication and it will not be as efficacious. Licking at the site also increases the risk for infection and irritation as licking the area will introduce many different organisms that are present in the cat’s mouth and saliva. Please verify with the veterinarian if they would be ok allowing your cat to go without the cone for a couple of hours during the day.
