Can't really tell if there is improvement.
From UndisclosedComments about ClomicalmPrescribed for my dog. Dog has been on it for about 3 weeks and was told it can take up to 4 weeks to really see any improvement. Can't really tell if it's helping yet. -
Good anxiety med, but can be pricey for large dogs
From UndisclosedComments about ClomicalmWe tried every other medication for our dog with anxiety, and this was the only one that seems to help. Its a bit pricey for larger dogs, but it is worth it since it helps our dog. -
I would deffintely recomend
From UndisclosedComments about ClomicalmI have an Australian Cattle dog mix. She was a rescue and was abandoned so suffers from separation anxiety. She also became aggressive with our other dog. We had tried several meds but this one seems to be the best. She is much calmer, plays all the time with the other dog. Its not a miracle cure but she is so much happier, more even tempered. I would definitely recommend this product -

No canine relief-update
From Desert Hot Springs, CAComments about ClomicalmUpdate 1/31/18 Since she has been off the medication completely for about 2 weeks now, I see her anxiety daily when she is kenneled. Originally I thought it had just subdued her because there was such a personality change. My dog has her quirks and is very outgoing at home. On the medication she was withdrawn and would hide along with not playing with our other dog. Like I stated before we tried this medication because the separation anxiety was causing her to chew things up. The medication did not stop that which is why after 2 months we had to start kenneling her. There were no issues at all with her for the 6 hours she was kenneled. Nowthat she is completely off the medication the first 15-20 minutes of being in the kennel she digs/scratches at the bottom of the cage trying to get out. After that she lays down and sleeps. Obviously the medication had helped with her anxiety, although with the change in her behavior I won't be putting her back on it. She is such a energetic and talkative dog that the changes to her personality were very noticeable. Her brother(our male dog) is happy to have his playful sister back. They terrorize the hallways chasing each other after I get home. -
No canine relief
From Desert Hot Springs, CAComments about ClomicalmStarted this product in September for my dog who was suffering from separation anxiety. She has always freaked out when frayed, so we were trying to stay away from that. Anyway she was chewing up the door frames, cushions, rugs and more. Vet said to try this with behavior modification. We enrolled her in classes and had to take our male dog also. We rescued them about 3 weeks apart. She doesn't do well if he is not along. She was on 1 pill a day (80 mg). She had changed since starting the meds, but I didn't really attribute it to the medication although the thought was there that it might be a side effect. We thought the classes were stressing her out. She wouldn't play with our other dog anymore, she would hide out in the bedroom if we went to the front room, didn't really want to be petted. She was still chewing things up mid November, so we had to start crating her. To be safe I waited until the 1st of the year to start weaning her off the medication. I am shocked to see the change in her now, last night she helped(watched me with her feet up on the counter-yeah I know that's bad, but it's been so long) me wash dishes. She is playing with the other dog all the time and she doesn't hideout anymore. She gets in the crate in the morning without issues, but her brother is in a crate right next to her. Even if this medication had worked I'm not sure I would have kept her on it with the severe changes to her personality. I'm happy to have my baby back. -
This has made all the difference...
From Berkeley, CA, USAComments about Clomicalm...in my alpha male cat Horchata's behavior. We have several cats and Horchata was asserting his superiority by peeing in inappropriate places. Just a half pill every other day has helped him so much, and saved our sanity!
