Significantly helped my senior Golden Retriever
I adopted my Golden Retriever, Alli, at the age of 11 from a rescue and she is now a few weeks shy of 16. When she first came into rescue she was pretty grouchy and apt to snap unexpectedly if touched in the wrong place or the wrong way. The rescue's vet diagnosed her with arthritis and I believe her grouchiness was very much related to pain from the arthritis. She was put on Putney carprofen right after her vet exam and has been on this medication continuously ever since. It has made a huge difference in her mobility and overall quality of life. She has never had any side effects from taking the medication and has mellowed significantly over the four years that I've been blessed to have her in my life. Ordering from Vet Rx Direct has been a very smooth and easy process and shipment is always very prompt.

I will not buy this product again
Tried Rimadyl and it was great but expensive. Tried Putney Carprofen tablets and they worked a little, then tried chewable and they did not work at all. Could see dramatic decline in overall well-being. Went back to using Rimadyl and both our Irish Terriers improved dramatically. One Irish is 15, the other 8.

Lab in pain
From Arroyo Grande, CA, USAComments about Carprovet (carprofen) CapletsI been giving my yellow lab Carprofen caplets for more than six months. The problem is that you can't tell if she is getting any pain relief. They may be in a lot of pain but they can't tell you. She wants to go on walks like when she was younger but she's good for maybe 15 minutes before she starts really slowing down. She at time falls down. She is 13 years old. Great dog and I hate to think she is in that much pain. But I think she is and I don't believe any medication will help her. -

Keeps Zues Active
From Bel Air, MD, USAComments about Carprovet (carprofen) CapletsWe have been buying Zues' meds at another online pharmacy but their prices kept going up. The other company now only offers ordering by tablet, which is ridiculous. I was really happy to find VetRxDirect, and the great price. I certainly hope the prices stay and don't start increasing like the other place. I completely felt I got stuck in a bait and switch situation, and that's unfortunate. -

Carprofen helps so much
From Fair Oaks, CA, USAComments about Carprovet (carprofen) CapletsMy large dog, Buster, has been on Carprofen for several years. This brand is easy for him to take and I can split it in half easily if I need to. The taste is not objectionable to him...he eats it up in his food or with a bit of peanut butter. VetRxDirect has the best price for the Rimadyl generic and they get my prescription to me quickly.-
