- Visbiome can be stored at room temperature for up to a week without losing potency, but should be regularly stored in the refrigerator.
- Prolonged exposure to high temperatures over 86 degrees F may inactivate some of the bacterial strains.
- Visbiome must ship with ice packs, and two-day or next-day shipping is required.
- Visbiome is not eligible for free shipping.
- Orders may not ship Thursday through Sunday if delivery cannot be made within one to two consecutive days.
- We cannot ship Visbiome to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
- Due to the special packaging for shipment, there is a limit of 240 capsules (6 bottles), or 2 boxes of Vet packets per order.

- One Visbiome high-potency packet is equal to two capsules.

What problems could my dog or cat have with Visbiome?
- Safe use of Visbiome has not been proven in pregnant or breeding animals.
- Some strains of bacterium in Visbiome Vet may be inactivated by certain antibiotics. Do not administer Visbiome Vet within four (4) hours after taking antibiotics.
- Visbiome may cause stomach upset. Giving with food may help reduce these symptoms.
- Your pet may experience bloating during the first few days after starting Visbiome as your pet's intestinal microflora change. You may need to reduce your dog's daily consumption in order to fully adjust.
- Please consult with your pet's veterinarian if your pet experiences bloating or side effects.
How do you use Visbiome?
- Give as directed by your veterinarian.
- One high potency vet packet is equal to two capsules.
- Administer capsules by mouth. Capsules may be opened and powder given by mouth or mixed with food.
- Visbiome powder packets can be given directly by mouth or sprinkled on cold or room-temperature food. Do not microwave the product.
- For picky eaters (especially cats), you can try mixing the powder with paste treats.
- If Visbiome powder packets are mixed in water, it must be consumed within 24 hours, or use the syringe method.
- It is recommended that Visbiome be given with food or directly after meals to reduce gastrointestinal upset.

Takes time, will order again
I have a dog who suffers from Irritable Bowel Disease who has been very difficult to manage. He is a nine year old Standard Poodle who is neutered. This probiotic came out recently and our vet suggested we give it a try. We literally had nothing to lose at this point, we have tried everything! We are about half way through one bottle. He takes 2 pills each day. Although his stools are on the loose side we have noticed that there is no blood in them, he isn't straining, and that he has had some firm stools more recently. His stools look like "puppy poop" is how I would describe it. They are much better than what we were experiencing just a few months ago. We have been on this IBD roller coaster with him for almost two years now and this seems to be helping, slowly but surely.

This medication did not help my pet
A neighbor recommended Visbiome, and I order it through VetRXDirect. I thought I read "satisfaction guaranteed". After using the pills for 15 days, it became clear that my dog's bowels continued to be the same as before taking the pills - soft, not loose, but never firm. I called VetRXDirect and was told they could not refund me if the bottle had been opened. That does not support "satisfaction guaranteed." The representative suggested I call the manufacturer.

What does the temperature sensor mean? Do these work? I left my temperature sensor out, and none of the dots became red. Is my sensor defective? Is my Visbiome still good??

Visbiome Vet is shipped with this temperature sensor in a cooler to guarantee your order did not experience elevated temperatures during shipping. The dots will become irreversibly red if the temperature rises above 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius). It appears your order was not compromised when delivered and should be stored in the refrigerator at 39-46°F. Visbiome Vet is stable at room temperatures for up to a week without affecting potency.

The red censor works. We tested it on our front west exposure porch. It went red. Visbiome does a fantastic job packing and delivering their product. Our guy had chronic diarrhea. We had extensive testing with no results. Visbiome worked within two days!

This product is shipped in a cooler with ice packs to keep the product cool during shipping transit. It is recommended that someone plans to be present at the address the package is shipped to on the day of its arrival so that it does not sit out in direct sunlight or heat after being delivered.
