Best Probiotics
From UndisclosedComments about Visbiome Vet Probiotic for Pets 80 Capsules (2X40ct)Visbiome was recommended by my dog's dermatologist. It is considerably less expensive at VetRXDirect, and it arrives refrigerated. This probiotic helps my bulldog's digestive issues and (I think) prevents further anal gland issues. I give him three capsules in the morning every day with his first meal. He gobbles it up and doesn't even know its there.-

Excellent Probiotic has really helped our pup with GI issue
From UndisclosedComments about Visbiome Vet Probiotic for Pets 80 Capsules (2X40ct)Visbiome Vet was prescribed by our 10 year old tiny English Setter, Duffie's internist as part of her treatment for Lymphangectasia, a Protein Losing Enteropathy. It is very different (much higher number and varied bacteria) than the previous probiotic, and although more expensive (and BTW, I found the best price BY FAR is here on VetRXdirect) and we have seen a big difference already in the most visible evidence-her stool. We are now in the 4th month of having her on it. I am especially happy that you can OPEN the capsule and add it to food (tasteless, apparently) which is sooooo much easier than giving it orally. Even the shipping is HALF the cost of the other source we began ordering it on. The packaging is excellent and adequately keeps the meds chilled during the super quick delivery. I am ordering multiple bottles to again, save some $$. Highly recommend this probiotic-so glad our vet internist suggested it!-

Easy to Use
From UndisclosedComments about Visbiome Vet Probiotic for PetsMy dog's GI doctor recommended that he be put on a stronger probiotic than the one he was on. It's easy to administer (I open the capsule and sprinkle it on his breakfast). My fur baby doesn't seem to notice it. He still has tummy issues but my baby has a super-sensitive belly. I didn't give it 5-stars because it has to be refrigerated and I have to pay for shipping every month because it's an item that's not eligible for free shipping.-

Visbiome saved my cats health and my sanity!
From UndisclosedComments about Visbiome Vet Probiotic for Pets 40 Capsulesmy cat had explosive! diarrhea. everyday for weeks and everywhere. the vets prescribed a medication that she refused to take. it was impossible to bring her to a vet 2xs a day to pill her and i was very upset for her and me! her oncologist reached out to an associate out of state who rec Visbiome! i found one vet in the city who had it. I put it in some food that evening and that night i noticed a difference. by the next day it was no longer explosive and her stools were more formed. it has been months now. she gets it once a day and i dont see any reason to not give it to her. visbiome saved my sanity and her health! she was diagnosed with FGESF and had part of her stomach removed and has abt 40 staples holding it together. but at 18 years old she is healthy and Visbiome has helped her a lot!-

Amazingly difference
From Sebastian, FlComments about Visbiome Vet Probiotic for PetsMy vet recommended this product. My dog had soft stools for a month. He received all sorts of testing and we came to doing a food trial. I was so discouraged as even his stools was were soft on a hydrolyzed diet I purchased this probiotic and saw a difference in 2 days. His stools are healthy. This item is well worth the cost.

My cat has been pooping out stools that are basically rocks. He has been on Lactilose sometimes he poop soft serves but mostly rocks. Will this help him have a smoother bowel movement. Also, my cat only eats wet food for around three months now and he's not dehydrated?
-
Visbiome Vet Constipation Care for cats is a high potency probiotic that relieves occasional constipation in cats and supports natural regularity, proper digestion, and bowel health. If your cat is on lactulose, it is recommended to keep a log of their stool consistency. Your veterinarian can adjust the dosing and frequency of lactulose based on this log to achieve an ideal stool consistency. It is also recommended that you talk with your veterinarian before using this product to determine if this supplement is an appropriate and safe choice for your cat.

I have a 14 week old kitten, and was wondering how often to give him this? Also the dosage for that age? I just received the capsules today. He was having diarrhea, so I did a stool sample test, and found out he has colitis. The vet put him on a few days of metronidazole, to help clear it up. I ordered these probiotics, to help his tummy troubles.?
-
Visbiome Vet Probiotic capsules are over-the-counter supplements meant to relieve occasional constipation and support regularity, proper digestion, and bowel health. Visbiome Vet doses vary based on weight. According to the manufacturer of VisbiomeVet, this product should not be taken within 4 hours of taking any antibiotics like metronidazole. Please consult your veterinarian regarding any further questions or concerns regarding this medication and its dosing in your kitten.

The product is supposed to be refrigerated. How do you ship it and keep it refrigerated?
-
The manufacturer of Visbiome states that Visbiome can be stored at room temperature for up to a week without it affecting the probiotic's potency. The potency may be affected if the product reaches temperatures over 86 degrees F. We ship Visbiome with cold packs and a temperature sensor purchased from the manufacturer that will trigger if the product is exposed to temperatures above 86 degrees F. If cold packs are fully or partially melted inside, it does not necessarily mean that the temperature inside the package reached a level that would inactivate the bacteria. Please note that cold packs start to melt at any temperature above freezing.

Hello, I just purchased Visbiome because I heard it's great for cats with diarrhea. Right now, I give my kitten a small amount of Jarrow Saccharomyces Boulardii 1/8 spoon in the morning and one Nexabiotic capsule at night, which seems to work well. But my kitten is going to be spayed soon, and the vet will prescribe antibiotics afterward. Antibiotics usually upset my kitten's stomach. I've noticed that giving him more probiotics helps, but sometimes it's still not enough when he's on antibiotics. So, I'm wondering if I should add Visbiome to his routine alongside the others. I thought about giving Visbiome in the morning and the other probiotics (Saccharomyces Boulardii or Nexabiotic) at night. Is it okay to give two different probiotics at different times, especially when he's on antibiotics? Please let me know. Thank you.?
-
It is recommended to consult your veterinarian before administering this product and follow their directions for use, especially if your pet is currently taking other supplements or medications. The manufacturer warns that Visbiome Vet should not be given within four (4) hours after taking antibiotics because some strains of bacterium in Visbiome may be inactivated by certain antibiotics.
