seems to work well
My cat Angie suffers from IBS so I can't use any of those Lysine kitty treats, she got ill from all of them :( This gel was my last hope because I just can't pill this cat!
I give her 1/4 tsp of the gel in a syringe (get them at CVS) twice a day, squirt it into the side of her mouth, and it seems to keep her upper respiratory infections at bay. If I slack off, they come back.

Great product
I rescued a kitten and he spent a week with my Vet, who gave him a clean bill of health but he didn't check him for Herpes and of course he has it and gave it to my two healthy cats. I find that this product helps to keep them healthy when they have a flare up and I have no problem getting them to take the medicine since I just mix it with their food. By the way the kitten is a joy to have so full of life and so cute everyone loves him (gabriel)

From UndisclosedComments about Viralys Gel 5ozI've been putting Viralys in Manhattan's wet food for seven years now to control FHV flare-ups. It's worked wonders - I don't remember the last time he had a cold (knock on wood). Would highly recommend it for any owner of a flat-nosed furbaby. -

I would buy this product multiple times.
From UndisclosedComments about ViralysBasically lysine, and an immune booster... used for the herpes virus, we give it to our cat Pantera, she was born with drippy eyes, (outside feral) and this seems to keep that in check, whether her eye issue was from a herpes virus or not when she was a kitten, we do not know, but this works. -
I would definitely buy this again
From UndisclosedComments about ViralysThe cats love it. No problem giving them their medicine.

Are these tubs sealed on the inside??
-
The Viralys powder tubs are sealed on the inside, however, unless the lid is removed very carefully, the seal will come off with the lid. You should still find it stuck in the inside of the lid. Thank you, VetRxDirect

I have kittens that are about 3 1?2 months old . One had tape worm and another has developed a cough. What would you suggest? Vets are so expensive. I love my animals but I just can't afford them. Diana?
-
Diana, Viralys gel and powder are products for use in cats and kittens with conditions responsive to Lysine, such as conjunctivitis caused by herpes virus. There are a variety of illnesses and environmental causes that could be at fault for the coughing your kitten is experiencing, and without a diagnosis from a veterinarian, you won't be able to choose the correct method of treatment. In some areas there are low-cost clinics that can help owners who are trying to take the best care of their pet. Your local animal shelter or humane society may have information on low-cost clinics in your area or an internet search may be able to provide you with that information. Thank you, VetRxDirect
