Ventolin HFA
From Houston, TX, USAComments about Ventolin HFA (albuterol sulfate)I have been ordering Ventolin inhaler for quite some time from vetrxdirect as it is cheaper than ordering from my vet's office. Another factor is that it is metered, and I can tell exactly how many "hits" are left on the inhaler. I know that I am getting a good product from this company. They ship fast and the packaging is great. This is for my granddaddy cat which Is 17 years old.

Does this come with the Actuator or how can it be administered to the cat if not??
-
Ventolin albuterol inhaler is a human labeled medication that is approved for extra label use in animals, so it comes with a standard actuator that is designed for administering to humans. Inhalers are often most effective when used with spacers or chambers such as the AeroKat or AeroDawg Aerosol Chambers which are designed for administering to animals and are sold separately on our website.

Proventil HFA, Ventolin HFA and Proair HFA all contain the same active ingredient, albuterol sulfate, in the same concentration per puff. Which of the aforementioned inhalers is best for your pet is up to the discretion of your veterinarian. The arrival time of your AeroDawg Canine Aerosol Chamber is dependent upon the shipment method you have chosen. Orders with the standard shipment option can be expected in 5-8 business days from the time the package is shipped. Why the price difference for Pro-Air HFA and Ventolin HFA? Are they made in the U.S.A.??
-
Catt, While there are many factors in play in terms of drug prices, the acquisition costs of two products can be different. Even the cost of two products of the same active drug can be different. Therefore the selling prices can also be different. While many drugs are made outside of the U.S., all products sold through our pharmacy are made in FDA approved facilities. These two products are made in the U.K. Thank you, VetRxDirect
