Uromaxx ingredients state it contains Natural Chicken Flavor. My dog is allergic to Chicken. So I'm wondering if this product would be safe for her.?
-
According to the manufacturer, UroMAXX chews for dogs contain a natural chicken flavoring. This flavoring is made from chicken fat rather than chicken muscle. For this reason, many dogs with chicken allergies have been able to safely consume this product. However, the manufacturer recommends consulting your veterinarian before giving UroMAXX chews to your dog. They also recommend monitoring your dog for any unusual symptoms after giving them a UroMAXX chew.

can this be given directly into mouth with dropper??
-
No, freezing or refrigeration does not extend the shelf life beyond 2 months and is not recommended.
Verified Answer -
Uromaxx is very safe and wholesome for cats so there is no medical reason why you should not put it directly into your cat's mouth. The ingredients include cranberry juice extract-glucosamine-vitamin C-herbal extract and amino acid support-proprietary blend of cornsilk powder, dandelion whole plant powder, nettle leaf, L-methionine and UVA URSI. Often the reason that manufacturers suggest mixing this sort of product in the food is that many cats become excited and resist oral dosing of any sort so it all becomes a big fight. But if your cat will take it easily by mouth then fair enough, diluting with some water may make it easier to give.
