Tritop Topical Ointment
Tritop is a prescription topical that acts as an anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, and pain reliever in the treatment of certain ear and skin conditions in dogs, cats, and horses. It serves as a wound dressing for minor cuts, abrasions, lacerations and post-surgical therapy, in addition to managing ear infections, hot spots and other skin problems. It contains neomycin as a broad spectrum antibiotic to reduce infection, tetracaine as a topical anesthetic to block sensations of pain and irritation, and isoflupredone as a steroid to inhibit inflammation. If your pet has been diagnosed with a skin or ear condition, or has a skin wound, your veterinarian may prescribe a topical ointment such as Tritop for treatment. Available in 10gm tube with applicator tip.
