Gobbled up fast!
My pups have been taking Synovial Soft Chews for a couple years. They gobble them up like treats! They really seem to help/prevent joint problems. One of my dogs has had multiple surgeries on her knee and you would never know it! My only problem/concern is that my last 2 orders weren?t as soft/fresh as they typically are. They were a bit hard which was disappointing. I always get my shipments quick and I like the added touch of the extra treat included with the order.

I have repeatedly purchased Synovial soft Chews from Vetrxdirect and in the past the product has been superior. However we received a 120 count of soft chews to find this shipment wasn't soft at all. The product looks and smells the same except that they are much harder and seem stale. Normally we use the chews as a delivery method for my pets meds by pushing the pill into the chew works greaty NORMALLY. Not so with this batch, the chew is hard and tends to crumble,

We are really happy with the previous purchases of this product. Before using this he was having trouble jumping up on the sofa or the bench he uses to hop on the bed. Since he has been taking this he seems more agile and active like he was when he was younger. I think it really works. Our Vet had recommended it and sold it to us from his office but charged a lot more than VetRx Direct does. My newest purchase is in a different container so I hope it is the same product. Looks like it's a different manufacturer. I opened it and peeked inside. It looks a little different so when we start using it I will write another review. Our dog, Toby, is a Shih Tzu and he loves the taste and chewy texture. We have to cut it into 4 pieces for him because he has such a small mouth but it's treat time when we give it to him. -

what is the recommended dosage for a 44 lb. shepher mix who has had ACL surgery on both hind legs? Surgeries were 2 years ago. She is fully recovered and active, but I want to keep her joints healthy for extra support.?

The manufacturer recommends the dosing schedule as listed below: Initial Administration: (4-6 weeks) 5 to 15 pounds 1/2 chew per day 16 to 30 pounds 1 chew per day 31 to 60 pounds 2 chews per day 61 to 100 pounds 4 chews per day Over 100 pounds 5 chews per day Maintenance Administration: 5 to 30 pounds may reduce to every other day serving 31 to 60 pounds 1 chew per day 61 to 100 pounds 2 chews per day Over 100 pounds 2-1/2 chews per day The manufacturer recommends giving the chew during or after the dog has eaten to reduce occurrences of stomach upset. There is not specific information provided regarding dogs who have had joint injuries.
