I have a 200 lb. extra large Great Dane. He has an inoperable condition which causes him to put excessive pressure on his right elbow when he lies down. How thick your padding? Unless it is dense and at least 1 in. thick I doubt it will be effective. ?

My dog rolls in the snow. Will your product withstand cold and wet? Does it need any special treatment to withstand the elements? Is it made of leather or vinyl? ?

The Standard Length Adjustable DogLeggs are made up of several different materials mainly Polartech Power Stretch RX and Airprene. The chest strap is made of Lycra. As the materials are proprietary, the manufacturer does not share the chemical make-up of the material. The materials are designed to be totally breathable so as not to irritate your dog's skin as well as, designed to be totally washable. As the DogLeggs are designed to be washable, getting the product wet in the snow should not be an issue. You should take the DogLeggs off to inspect it and your dog's skin once a day. If the product becomes dirty, it should be washed promptly according to the care instructions provided. Thank you, VetRxDirect
