From UndisclosedComments about Solva-Ker Gel 1oz TubePriced competitively, shipped, and received immediately. A great experience. Have been using the Solva-Ker Gel since were received it. Appears to be working very well. Not a cure but helps maintain our fur daughter's pads. Would recommend both product and Vet-Rx-Direct. -
Solva-Ker helped my dog
From UndisclosedComments about Solva-Ker Gel 1oz TubeThis product has helped my dog's dry elbows. It moisturizes her elbows, and is a clear gel that doesn't make a mess on our carpet. -
I will continue to purchase this product.
From UndisclosedComments about Solva-Ker GelMy dog's front paws are going flat, and because of this, her pads are getting "wore" on the sides where you can't see the "damage". I'm sure her paws hurt, due to the cracks in them. This gel softens and heals the cracks, and fast, too! My dog doesn't like her feet touched, but doesn't mind me putting this get on her paws twice a day because I'm sure it feels soothing to her. I would definitely recommend this gel to anyone with a dog with dry/cracked paws. -
Still evalutating
From UndisclosedComments about Solva-Ker GelMy dog seems to feel it is painful to her corns but if I put it in the toes of her boots before her walk, she tolerates it better. I can't tell if it's having any affect yet. -
Great product!
From undisclosedComments about Solva-Ker GelI was impressed on how fast it diminished the affected area, it is a strong medication nonetheless, it may cause hypersensitivity and rashes on the pet skin. It should definitely be used supervised by a vet. -
Worked in only 4 days!
From undisclosedComments about Solva-Ker GelMy 8 yr old pit mix had a dry crusty nose for a few months. After trying a Nose and Paws all natural balm that didn't work because she immediately licked it off I tried this gel and on the fifth day all of the dead crusty skin had disappeared. The top of her nose was all pink and raw but it's healing well now. -

From Mesa, AZ, USAComments about Solva-Ker GelHad to buy Solva-Ker Gel as a similar product my vet recommended for Sasha's crusty nose was discontinued. I applied this to the outside of her nose about 6 times in a little over a week. She no longer has the crust and her nose looks and feels very smooth. -
Dryness top of nose
From Portsmouth, RI, USAComments about Solva-Ker GelI bought this product because was unable to get original product advised by my vet. I don't feel this product helped the dry spot on top of my Pomeranians nose. In fact I feel it made the problem worse then it was. It also made some hair above her nose fall out.

Does this product make your dogs symptoms appear worse before getting better? Our dog has has more build up with use but not sure if that's a sign it's re-newing the skin underneath and shedding the build up??
-
Sola-Ker Gel contains 6.6% salicylic acid and is indicated for desquamation (shedding or peeling) of hyperkeratotic (thickened) outer layers of skin, without affecting the structure of skin layers below. Application to thickened layers of skin with salicylic acid will cause the skin to swell, soften, appear wet and lighter in color. Please consult with your veterinarian to discuss the use of Sola-Ker Gel to support proper skin balance as a maintenance dose may be suggested after initial improvement.
