From UndisclosedComments about Selarid (selamectin) 6 Doses for Cats 5.1 to 15lbsAttention Spoiled Cats: I speak from experience. We all hate going to the nasty vet, and we reaaly can't stand getting flea medicine...but the alternative is we get worms and worm medicine is even nastier. Vetrxdirect lets mom buy my Selamectin online without a trip to the nasty vet. Tell your cat moms and dads to order Selamectin from Vetrxdirect, because Selamectin is much better than yucky worm medicine. Regards, Onyx Aïda the Cat -

NO HEART WORMS WANTED
From UndisclosedComments about Selarid (selamectin) 3 Doses for Puppies and Kittens 5lbs and underMaggie Mae is a smallish Yorkie/Shih Tzu and we use the puppy doses for Khloe and Maggie Mae. Utah rescues pets everywhere, many come from southern states after hurricanes and tornadoes and are infected with Heart Worm. Heart Worm is prevalent in the high humidity states, so people are shocked they need to treat it here in the high desert, with low humidity. Heart Worm is passed along by mosquitoes.-

Q & A
-
When will this product be back in stock??
-
Why does this product have to be vet approved. My veterinarian and a lot of them are not approving chewy anymore making owners wait weeks to pick up hand written prescription. It's very frustrating?
-
Selarid, selamectin, is a topical heartworm and parasite preventative for dogs and cats. This medication requires a prescription because an annual heartworm test is typically required before a heartworm preventative is prescribed for your dog or cat.

Does this product work the same as revolution flea medicine??
-
Selarid is a generic equivalent to Revolution. Meaning they are interchangeable and have the same active ingredient. The effects of both drugs will be the same. Both products have flea coverage and target the fleas and their eggs.
