Dogs a Vegetarian
From UndisclosedComments about Rx Biotic 2.12oz (60.10g) PowderThis probiotic works wonders. Lucy is allergic to meat protein and they put it in almost all dog products. This keeps her regular due to dryness from her prescription food! Going on our 2nd year. -
Good product
From UndisclosedComments about Rx Biotic 2.12oz (60.10g) PowderWe started our boy on a holistic path to help heal his body from cancer, arthritis, skin problems, and to increase his mobility. The product was recommended by his vet to help heal his gut and improve his overall health. He is tolerating it really well and comes "running" to the kitchen when he hears me preparing his supplements. We have already seen improvement in his bowel/potty schedule. -

Great for your pet's digestive system
From UndisclosedComments about Rx Biotic 2.12oz (60.10g) PowderMy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Dazzle has been taking this since she was a pup on the advice of a trusted veterinarian. A friend recently told me about VetRxDirect and I was pleased to see they have better prices for this excellent product than what I've paid in the past. Shipping was so fast too! I top her breakfast meal with it and it must be really yummy because she goes right for it. She had her annual vet checkup this week and got an "excellent" review from her veterinarian, including clean teeth and excellent weight. I know I'm helping her digestive system which is an integral part of her overall health. Highly recommended. Don't forget to store it in the refrigerator. -

I buy every month!
From UndisclosedComments about Rx BioticThis product was recommended by my veterinarian to maintain solid stools. It works wonders and my dog is not bothered by the taste. It is a powder you sprinkle on their food and she always licks the bottom of the bowl to get it all. #sweepstakes -

I've been using Rx Biotic for years with my chocolate lab with great success. But I'm concerned about the most recent jar I received. The powder is all white and not the orangey yellow as in the past. The seal was secure and not broken and with an expiration year date of 2026. Has there been a formulation change??
-
According to the manufacturer, Rx Vitamins, the formula for Rx Biotic changed around May 2024. The tomato powder was removed, changing the color to white.

I have a senior dog who has been having issues with diarrhea all of a sudden. She was put on propectolin which did not clear up the diarrhea, then an antibiotic which did. Then we tried to transition her back to real food from chicken and rice and the diarrhea came back. Tried Pro-Pectolin again which seemed to help and after that 3-day course started this product. She got one scoop yesterday and one scoop today and it's back to mucousy jello poop. Is this potentially normal and will regulate itself? I've read that this product is for diarrhea not causing it?
