Good for Mr. Biggs
From UndisclosedComments about RemendProduct is great for my biggy - Mr. Biggs -
Recommended for healing of the eye after corneal ulcer, etc.
From UndisclosedComments about RemendMy 1-yr-old female Persian developed a corneal ulcer & bad eye infection. I started her on Terramycin until I could get her in to the vet, who was glad I'd caught it early & started treatment because he said that problem can often lead to loss of the eye. He prescribed Tobramycin drops 4x/day (which he said is a stronger antibiotic than Terramycin) to finish clearing any infection and Remend drops 4x/day to speed and improve healing. It was a long process, alternating the drops 4x each per day over such a long period of time, but thankfully she is a very sweet docile cat who didn't mind too much. She stayed on the drops for months until all that remained of the ulcerative lesion was just a tiny dot of scar tissue on the eye. Though not cheap, I highly recommend Remend for healing of the eye after a corneal ulcer or other infection. And the price on VetRx is WAY better than what I paid the vet for the first bottle, about half the price. -

It has improved my dog's life!
From undisclosedComments about RemendI have a 6 year old Chihuahua that her left eye doesn't produce tears. If I only use artificial tears, when I get home after a long day at work, her eye is gunky and sometimes her eyelids are stuck together. A totally unacceptable situation! I had tried another prescription eyedrop but the poor dog was allergic to it. Remend eyedrops lubricate her eye all night and all day. It had greatly improved the quality of her life! I will purchase this product again and again. -
It has improved my dog's life.
From St. Louis, MOComments about RemendI use this every night before bed and every morning before I leave for work. Also anytime I'm going to be gone for awhile. It keeps her "dry" eye lubricated. -
I Would Buy This Product Again
From undisclosedComments about RemendI am very happy with VetRXDirect. They contacted my Vet's office for the prescription and the meds arrived in a very timely manner. The Vet felt the Remend Corneal Repair Gel was instrumental in the healing of my Pug's eye ulcer. -
Miracle product. Will continue to purchase, for Pug's sake.
From undisclosedComments about RemendAs far as I know, Remend makes three products. The product I purchased was the Eye Lubricating Drops. I did quite a bit of exploring the research of this product. The bottle is 10mL, which equals 2 teaspoons. The bottle is small, but isn't difficult to squeeze. I use this on our 10 year old Pug. He has Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca which is a fancy word for dry eyes. I shouldn't play it down because he makes no tears in his right eye and he has some minor level of it in his left eye. I've read that brachiocephalic dogs don't appear to have any or as much pain/discomfort as other dogs, but I don't buy it. His vet, correctly, has him on Cyclosporine drops twice a day, for over a year, but this was becoming only marginally helpful. There is a synergistic effect using both Cyclosporine and Remend Eye Lubricating Drops. Our Pug has been receiving one drop in each eye in the morning and evening of both medications for almost two weeks, now. His less severe left eye is remarkably better - to the point that as I'm giving him the drops in his eyes, it appears he doesn't need them...he has such a wet, bright eye. However, I will continue forever. His horrible right eye is at least 50% better. Yes, really. The swelling of the eyeball itself is down, the redness has abated and his eyeball appears damp at the 12 hour intervals, and throughout the day, sometimes looks wet and brighter. I'm sure he will have lasting damage in the right eye, but the symptoms are easing. Also, when I was reading the reviews before I purchased this with the help of my veterinarian (it takes a prescription), someone had mentioned that their animal was experiencing a milky-white haze on the front of the eye after starting use. Well, we experienced that, too; it started around day 4? but was gone by the end of day 10. I should have mentioned it at the beginning, but our Pug HAD enormously messy, dry, goopy globs of eye boogers that stuck to his eyes and surrounding area - NO MORE! -
I'll be back! Great service!
