This medication has really helped!
From UndisclosedComments about Reconcile (fluoxetine) 8mg, 8.8 - 17.6 lbs, Bottle of 90 TabletsErnie isn't a dog with anxiety, he's a cat suffering from hyperesthesia. My vet recommended Reconcile because it's easy to crush and mix in a cat's food. No daily pilling, and Ernie is a much happier cat - win, win!! :-) -
Reconcile has helped our boy!
From UndisclosedComments about Reconcile (fluoxetine) 16mg, 17.7 - 35.2 lbs, Bottle of 90 TabletsThis product was recommended by our veterinarian who is also an Animal Behaviorist. Quincy takes this to help him with anxiety developed during the COVID pandemic. -
Works great
From UndisclosedComments about Reconcile (fluoxetine) 32mg, 35.3 - 70.4 lbs, Bottle of 30 TabletsI can tell a huge difference when my dog is on her medication. She's much more relaxed and less barky. She also takes it with no problem like it's a snack. -

For my dog, calmer than generic version....
From UndisclosedComments about Reconcile (fluoxetine)I was very skeptical about how much better this would work for my dog than generic prozac (Fluoxetine). The price difference for the size of my dog is substantial. His vet said she had very good results with the Reconcile on her patients and I gave it a shot since if I didn't feel Reconcile worked as well, I would just go back to the cheaper Fluoxetine. Having said that, I actually do think he is more "calm" and less reactive on the Reconcile than the generic prozac. -
Haven't had it long enough

Reconcile, not for our Mastiff
From UndisclosedComments about Reconcile (fluoxetine)Vetrxdirect provided very prompt service and delivery. Unfortunately, Reconcile had absolutely no positive effects on our Mastiff. Quite the contrary. Where a calming effect was intended and hoped for, Reconcile heightened his anxiety and increased his noise sensitivity. -
I would buy again
From UndisclosedComments about Reconcile (fluoxetine)This has helped our dog feel more relaxed and less anxious.

Can these tablets be quartered??
-
Yes, the Reconcile tablets are chewable and splitting them or quartering them will not affect the absorption of the drug. However, the tablets are not scored so they may be difficult to consistently split into quarters without a pill cutter.
