Easy way to administer hair ball treatment/laxative.
Use this for an extremely picky cat. Initially tried to give it by mouth and very difficult to syringe 1-2 ml into cat's mouth (too large amount/cat struggling to spit out) but found that if I put it in a small dish he will lick it up within the day...and this is a cat that is extremely picky. Much easier to use than the solid products that he will not eat and so therefore have to stick on tongue or on fur-messy. Very pleasantly surprised that he will lick this out of a dish and no struggle way to get laxative/fur ball treatment into the cat.

Helpful for hairballs
This is a simple remedy for our long haired, older kitty who is plagued with hairballs. It isn't a "cure" but more of a relief for her. She flat refuses the pasty tubes of gunk, even the one the vet sold us that was suppose to taste good but she will ingest these drops. I do mix it in with wet food or milk sometimes. My only complaint is that the dropper that came with it is very hard to clean.

Great product for hairball and hard stool problems in cats
From UndisclosedComments about Purrge DropsPurrge was recommended to me by a veterinarian to help keep my cat more comfortable with an ongoing blockage problem in her stomach and large intestine. It provides fairly fast relief when she has an upset stomach and helps her pass excess hair and hardened feces. Very easy application- this finicky cat loves the flavor and enthusiastically licks the dosage out of her bowl. The order arrived surprisingly fast.-

Would buy again.
From UndisclosedComments about Purrge DropsI use this product for my cat, is is easy to use than the gel you put on their paw which usually ends up on my walls, I feel it works better and you don't have to use it often. -
I will definitely continue to buy this product.
From undisclosedComments about Purrge DropsThis is a product I haved used for years. My 19yr old cat suffers from constipation and does not groom himself well. This product keeps him regular and helps with hairballs. His fur is very long. I found it to be less expensive than purchasing from my vet. The delivery was quick and I was well satisfied with the service. -

I've read cod liver oil is not good for cats. My cat is 17. I wanted to try this for hair ball relief but not if it can result in high levels of vitamin A. How is your product different than normal cod liver oil? Thank you.?
-
Petrolatum is the active ingredient, while cod liver oil is an inactive ingredient in Purrge Drops. Each cat has an individualized response to cod liver oil; therefore, we recommend that you contact your veterinarian regarding any further questions or concerns about using the active or inactive ingredients in your cat.
