READ THIS IF YOU WANT YOUR CAT TO EAT THEM!
If your cat won't eat them, try this trick - My cat is not attracted to the flavor of the pill pockets, but because they are soft like play-doh, I crush my cat's favorite hard treats and use the crumbs to coat the pill pocket and trick my cat into thinking he is eating his favorite treat. It works!
This is how you do it: 1) Crush a few of your cat's favorite hard treats (mine likes Whiska's Temptations Chicken Flavor treats) and put the crumbs in a small cup; 2) At the same time, cover the pill thoroughly with the pill pocket; 3) Roll the pill pocket containing the pill in the cup with the treat crumbs. You will have to press it a bit, while you are rolling it in there. However you do it, just cover the pill pocket as best as you can; 4) Put it on a little plate and watch your cat smell it and eat it!
I give the treat/pill pocket to him every day around the same time and on the same plate, so now he naturally comes to the kitchen and waits for me while I prepare it.I really hope this helps you out. It's made my life much simpler and wanted to share this trick!

Where are the duck & pea Pill Pockets?
A few weeks ago I was disappointed to notice that the duck & pea flavor were suddenly not on the shelf at the pet store. Both of my cats loved them and would take their pills without any problem. Now I am having to "pill" them, because the other flavors are not as well accepted. One cat will eat salmon on occasion, and the other won't touch it. Is there any chance that you will bring the duck flavor back? I bought the canine duck version and they don't like it.

From UndisclosedComments about Pill PocketsThese work fantastically. My cats gobble them up, pill inside. It's been a life saver. -
THIS is how to pill a cat!
From UndisclosedComments about Pill PocketsTHIS is how to pill a cat! Kitty loves it and the little pill inside never shows its ugly bitter flavor. The "skin" works quite well at protecting. The pockets are big -- I break them in two or three, depending on the pill. -
I would buy again

From UndisclosedComments about Pill PocketsEasy way to medicate my dog. She thinks it's a treat. -
Works for us!
From UndisclosedComments about Pill PocketsWe have several older and special needs cats that require medications. Some of them happily eat the pill pockets with their medication as a treat, and for those who still require conventional pilling, a portion of a pill pocket wrapped around the pill keeps the nasty pill taste away and makes this less stressful for both the cat and the evil pill person. -
This is the only brand I will buy from now on.
From undisclosedComments about Pill PocketsEasiest way to get our dog to take her meds especially since she doesn't like any other brands that we've had to buy when we were on the road. -
Great product
From undisclosedComments about Pill PocketsWe use these daily to give our dachshund her medication. I don't know what we would do without them. Awesome product! -
For life's bitter pills
From undisclosedComments about Pill PocketsThe dog version of a spoonful of sugar, to help the medicine go down. I don't know how I'd get by without them.

1) Which of the pill pockets for dogs has the least amount of protein? My dog has serious kidney issues and I'm looking for something that is compatible with his condition. 2) How much protein is in each of the pill pockets with the least amount amount of protein.?

It looks like the Hickory Smoke and Chicken flavor both have 11% crude protein as opposed to 12% in the peanut butter. Thank you, VetRxDirect

Are the pill pocket sleeping pills?
-
Joseph, The Greenie's Pill Pockets are not a medication of any kind. They are an alternative method assisting in the administration of medication for pets. As some pets can be difficult to pill, pet owners sometimes find that pill pockets are a more pleasant method of ensuring a pet is getting the medication it needs. Thank you, VetRxDirect
