READ THIS IF YOU WANT YOUR CAT TO EAT THEM!
If your cat won't eat them, try this trick - My cat is not attracted to the flavor of the pill pockets, but because they are soft like play-doh, I crush my cat's favorite hard treats and use the crumbs to coat the pill pocket and trick my cat into thinking he is eating his favorite treat. It works!
This is how you do it: 1) Crush a few of your cat's favorite hard treats (mine likes Whiska's Temptations Chicken Flavor treats) and put the crumbs in a small cup; 2) At the same time, cover the pill thoroughly with the pill pocket; 3) Roll the pill pocket containing the pill in the cup with the treat crumbs. You will have to press it a bit, while you are rolling it in there. However you do it, just cover the pill pocket as best as you can; 4) Put it on a little plate and watch your cat smell it and eat it!
I give the treat/pill pocket to him every day around the same time and on the same plate, so now he naturally comes to the kitchen and waits for me while I prepare it.I really hope this helps you out. It's made my life much simpler and wanted to share this trick!

Where are the duck & pea Pill Pockets?
A few weeks ago I was disappointed to notice that the duck & pea flavor were suddenly not on the shelf at the pet store. Both of my cats loved them and would take their pills without any problem. Now I am having to "pill" them, because the other flavors are not as well accepted. One cat will eat salmon on occasion, and the other won't touch it. Is there any chance that you will bring the duck flavor back? I bought the canine duck version and they don't like it.

'Been buying these for years, love 'em!!
From Long island, NYComments about Pill PocketsOver the years I've lived with many precious pooches. Some would need prescription medications, which would taste awful to them. So when they didn't like their meds, Pill Pockets eliminated any fussing. which made everything much easier. I always keep them on hand now since my boxer girl will need meds for the rest of her life. I purchase the capsule size Pockets in the large bag, and I divide them each into 4 pieces and can get 4 doses from just one Pill Pocket, reducing the cost significantly! -

Makes giving pills so much easier
From Carrollton, TXComments about Pill PocketsThese are easy to use: just pop the pill in the "pocket" and pinch the open end together. A breeze to use. -
Cats can be picky...
From SeattleComments about Pill PocketsIf your cat likes Pill Pockets and eats them on a regular schedule (when he needs his meds) then great, lucky you! Many cats do not like them from my eperience or they quickly figure out there is medication inside and refuse them after a few tries. All you can do is try them - I imagine it's more of a texture thing than the flavor of the pockets. One trick that can work with some cats is to roll the pocket in crushed dehydrated chicken or fish flakes (bonito) to create a sort of truffle. Also try adding a few of kitty's favorite treats along with the pocket and hope they don't notice the pocket in the mix. -

I have been using these Pill Pockets for several years....
From west chester,paComments about Pill PocketsI find these work best if I cut the pills in smaller pieces with a pill cutter. -
It is a good disguise to fool smart cats.
From New York, NY, USAComments about Pill PocketsI use them every day for Felimazole medication. I put it on a small dish with some treats. Make sure to close the bag tightly, so they stay moist otherwise they can get dry and crumble.

It looks like the Hickory Smoke and Chicken flavor both have 11% crude protein as opposed to 12% in the peanut butter. Thank you, VetRxDirect

Are the pill pocket sleeping pills?
-
Joseph, The Greenie's Pill Pockets are not a medication of any kind. They are an alternative method assisting in the administration of medication for pets. As some pets can be difficult to pill, pet owners sometimes find that pill pockets are a more pleasant method of ensuring a pet is getting the medication it needs. Thank you, VetRxDirect
