It works!
I purchased this collar on the advice of my vet, for one of my resident cats who suddenly was showing aggression towards my foster cats. The very day I hung the collar the beat downs stopped. Later I hung one on my old girl that is nervous and high strung. It took a few days but she's now much calmer and more relaxed.

My boy cat is very aggressive with his sister who is 1/2 his body weight. Using this collar has mellowed him out to the point where we have harmony. It doesn't drug him but takes the edge off so I can stop thinking of rehoming him which was breaking my heart to even think about it. Also want to mention the customer service of VetRxDirect. They were prompt in responding to a concern I had about delivery. I really appreciate their commitment to customer service.

" However there are NO "Package Insert or More Information" tabs on the page. I'm interested in knowing if there are any medications that this collar should NOT be used with.?

I am having trouble figuring out how best to get the collar on the cat. It is a struggle to get it short enough to fit because I'm not sure how to use the buckle. Do I press the tab or lift it to make the collar slide easily to shorten it? Do I do something else? It gets larger every day and I have to shorten it again. Thank you.?

I since you are asked to use soap and water to clean hands after placing collar on cat I am wondering if the cat licks areas around or by the collar harmful to the cat, especially while grooming. They could rub the collar with a wet paw.?

Can I use the canine pheromone collar on my cat??

How fast does this start working? Is it supposed to immediately start calming the dog or does it take awhile??

Does the collar need to directly contact the cat to be effective? I'm thinking of gluing a section of it to the outside of my cat's existing collar to reduce irritation. Would this work? (The actual calming collar is far, far too long for my little cat's neck, so I need to cut it at least in half, anyway.) Thanks!?

For this product to be the most effective, direct contact with the kittens fur would be desirable so that the pheromones can be released from the collar. If the collar is too long for your kitten’s neck, feel free to cut off excess portions of the collar, leaving 1-2 inches for extra adjustment. As your kitten is growing, reassess proper length periodically as to ensure proper fit.
