From CaliforniaComments about Blue Buffalo W+U Weight Management and Urinary Care for DogsOur dog was prone to crystals a few years ago. at the time the doctor recommended we get the royal canin urinary SO. as far as working for their intended purpose, they both work just as well as each other. Our dog has not had crystals since. You are probably ok going with whichever one is cheaper (per lb) when you happen to be looking. i will say the Blue Buffalo definitely taste better.

My dog has bladder stones and I've ordered the WU dog food. Was told he can no longer have treats of ANY kind. This will be hard ( on both of us 😚) Hard to believe there is NOTHING I can give him. I gave carrots due to low calorie count. Not even that is ok? HELP!?

My 2 1/2 year old beagle has protein in her urine and has been on Hills Prescription k/d diet can and kibble. She has gained an enormous amount of weight. Can I possibly switch to Blue Buffalo weight management and kidney support. My vet is a firm supporter of Hills.?
