My dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis and given a script at the emergency vet for mycophenolate. However, my regular vet has never heard of this drug being used for pancreatitis. Does this drug have anti-inflammatory effects on the pancreas??
-
Mycophenolate is an immunosuppressive agent that works by reducing the production of inflammatory chemicals, blocking antibodies that attack your own tissues, or inhibiting the actions of hyper-stimulated immune cells. If the diagnosis of pancreatitis was believed to be immune related, Mycophenolate can be a possible treatment option.

Hi I would like to know if I can order Mycophenolate from you ? I have a prescription from my vet, but we are in Canada. I do have an adress in U.S. where you could ship it. Thank You?
-
Helene, If the veterinarian is a licensed U.S. veterinarian, we could accept that prescription and send it to your U.S. address but we cannot accept a prescription from a veterinarian from Canada. We apologize for that inconvenience. Thank you, VetRxDirect
