Works for rash
This is the only medication that clears up the rash my cat gets on her chin. Her vet and I have been trying to figure out what my cat is allergic to, with little success. However, this medication clears the rash within a few days and eases the itchiness.

Mupirocin Ointment
My vet recommended this ointment for my dogs skin irritations and sores. It is Rx so I had to wait for my vet and Vetrxdirect to get it together and get the ointment out. Took a very long time, so I was dissapointed in that. Product fine.

Worked great, a cream would be better.
From undisclosedComments about Mupirocin Topical Ointment, 2%Cleared up my dogs skin quickly (in one or two treatments). I just wish it came in a cream. If you have a hairy dog, I suggest trimming the fur as much as possible before applying. A little goes a long way.

According to the manufacturer, you should prevent your dog from licking, chewing, or grooming the area for at least 20 to 30 minutes after application of Mupirocin to prevent side effects related to ingesting the product and to allow sufficient contact time with the wound. Side effects that may be serious or indicate a serious problem include increased thirst and/or urinating more than usual, vomiting, poor appetite, and low energy level. If you witness or suspect an overdose, please contact your veterinarian immediately.

Will this help treat/heal a cut on the bottom of a paw??

Mupirocin is an antibiotic ointment used to treat a narrow range of bacterial skin infections. Since there are many bacteria, fungi and other sources of infection that the ointment will not treat, we recommend that you contact your veterinarian to determine the best treatment for your pet. Can I use this on my dog she has flea sores on her stomach?
-
Mupirocin is an antibacterial drug that can often be used for sores on the skin. However, using this medication without the approval of your veterinarian may delay the time to proper diagnosis and treatment. It could also result in a worsening infection and/or microbial resistance. We recommend you discuss this first with your veterinarian before attempting to use the ointment. Thank you, VetRxDirect
