Methio-Form is a prescription DL-methionine medication for dogs and cats. DL-Methionine is a an essential amino acid that works by acidifying urine, lowering the pH, to help breakdown and prevent the formation of struvite urinary crystals. It also aids in the prevention of Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) and to control urine odor. If you pet has been diagnosed with urinary crystals or similar urinary disorder, your veterinarian may prescribe a urinary acidifier such as Methio-Form. Methio-Form comes in a palatable, fish-flavored chewable tablet . Available in 500mg strength in 50ct, 150ct, and 500ct bottles.
