I have been giving my dog denamarin for about 2 years for high liver ensymes . Can this product be given in place of Denamarin? Or is it wise to give both? Thank you.?
-
Marin Plus and Denamarin are both non-prescription nutritional supplements designed to help support liver health, and reduce oxidative stress and damage. These products do contain different active ingredients. Marin Plus contains vitamin E, silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex (SBC), medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil zinc, and curcumin. Denamarin contains S-Adenosylmethionine and silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex (SBC). According to the manufacturer, Marin Plus can be used in addition to Denamarin for extra liver support, although we recommend asking your veterinarian before replacing or adding new supplements to your pet's regimen.
