From UndisclosedComments about Clindamycin Liquid 25mg/mL ZydaClin, 20mL Dropper Bottle- I chose this medication, because it's a good antibiotic, -&- I've used it before, on my other doggie, and it's always worked very well on teeth infections. From UndisclosedComments about Clindamycin Liquid 25mg/mL ClindaMed, 20mL Dropper VialBitty is a 13 year old Chihuahua who unfortunately has dental problems. I've found that the Clindamycin Liquid is helpful for her infection prone mouth. It's easy to measure and give with the dropper. Giving meds can be a challenge for me, as I am visually impaired.-

My veterinarian prescribed my dog some thing for anxiety and jumping because of noises to try to calm her down and she prescribed 25mg/ml Trazadone. So my question is when I typed it in the search bar, These medication's keep showing up I can't seem to find this prescription if you can please help I greatly appreciate it thank you my name is Angie my dog is Princess?
-
Trazodone is commercially available as a 50 mg, 100 mg, and 150 mg tablet. Your veterinarian is recommending a liquid version of Trazodone that would need to be customized or compounded by a compounding pharmacy. VetRxDirect does not offer a compounded trazodone liquid at this time. Please consult your veterinarian with any further questions or concerns regarding this medication.

We were told to give the cat Clindamycin Hydrochloride oral drops through the nose. Nothing I have read says this is a way to administer the product. Is it ok to put drops in each nostril??

My cat needs 150 mg/mL and I'm looking for a decent tasting liquid of Clindamycin. Do you offer this product in higher strenghts? If so how strong do you offer it and at what strength does the taste become horribly pungent, as Clindamycin naturally is.?
-
How long is it safe to keep giving this medicine? Originally it was prescribed for 10 days, condition improved but only slightly. We are doing second round now. Should I keep giving same dosage but for how long, till clears off? I read rewiews, some cat owners see improvement of dental condition if they give for 1 month, and it clears off for several months, and all over again in several months .?

Antibiotics such as clindamycin should only be taken for the duration indicated by your veterinarian. Please contact your veterinarian to determine if clindamycin is still appropriate for your cat.

As I was giving the medication to my dog, she tilted the head (cause she hates it, so she tries to escape the procedure), and some of it went in her eye. I just wanted to know if it's safe or not. I did my best to wash her eye right away, but I was wondering if it can cause any irritations. Thank you.?
-
Since this medication was not manufactured to be administered to the eye, there is the possibility of irritation. Contact your dog's veterinarian if you have further questions or concerns.

Is 1ml of 50mg/1ml once per day for two weeks too high of a concentration for my a 8 lb cat since I'm only seeing 25mg/ml??
-
According to the package insert, cat should get 5.0 - 15.0 mg/lb body weight dose once every 24 hours depending on the severity of the condition. If your cat is 8 Ib, the dose range should be between 40mg-120mg/day, which is about 1.6ml-4.8ml of this 25mg/ml product. However, the dose should be determined based on the severity of the condition. Please consult with your veterinarian for advice on dosing this medication for your cat.
