Canine Epilepsy Medication
From UndisclosedComments about Levetiracetam (Generic) 750mg TabletMy dog Luke takes this medication for treatment of his epilepsy. His seizures have been reduced while on the medication, but they still happen from time to time. The pills are a little large for a dog his size, but he usually takes them down without much hassle. Just be sure you're double checking between the standard and the extended release variants.-

I have phenobarbital script 97.2 milligram tablets how do you know if it is 250 or 500 ??
-
Phenobarbital is a different medication than levetiracetam. If you have a prescription for your pet for levetiracetam, the veterinarian will indicate which strength is being prescribed (250mg, 500mg, or 750mg). It sounds like the prescription you have is for a 97.2 milligram strength of phenobarbital. Thank you, VetRxDirect
