This product saved my furniture
From UndisclosedComments about Grannick's Bitter Apple Dogs, 8oz Spray BottleI chose this product to help keep my 8 month old German Shepherd puppy from chewing my furniture and the wood trim in my house. So far it's been working very well. I chose this particular item by price. Bitter Apple is all pretty much the same but the prices vary. -

Saved my plants with this
From Andover, MNComments about Grannick's Bitter AppleI have four cats and two dogs and 120 plants. It was hard to find something that would deter the furry kids to stop eating my green kids. I used this on the plants and boom! Chewing was done, it's lasted for months, I do have to respray on occasion but they hate it and wont go near my plants. -
Don't think I'd buy again
From CoachellaComments about Grannick's Bitter AppleMy huge pitbull puppy is adamant about scratching and causes her to open various parts on her body like her chest and ears and licks her paws. So I tried using the spray on her paws. First couple times it stopped her but soon after it seemed like she didn't care and simply licked off the spray knowing she doesn't like it and promptly started to scratch again -
My dog no longer looks like a slob
From New York NYComments about Grannick's Bitter AppleI give my dog his meds with peanut butter on them, and he has the peculiar habit of nibbling on his legs afterwards, leaving peanut butter stains in his fur. But since I started spraying his legs with the bitter apple, this behavior has nearly stopped. He's respectable again. -

My kitten is chewing on plants. Can I spray this on plants and if not is there a product out there that I can??
-
Lynn, Grannick's Bitter Apple is intended as a topical taste deterrent to discourage chewing fur and hot spots. As one of the ingredients is isopropyl alcohol (20%) it is probably not a good idea to spray a plant with it. Many taste deterrents are intended for topical use on the pet, rather than on household surfaces. We recommend contacting your veterinarian for product recommendations to keep your kitten from chewing the plants. Thank you, VetRxDirect
