Does it need refrigerating if portion is unused??

The manufacturer recommends discarding any unused portion poured in the bowl should after 12 hours. Any unused portion remaining in the pouch may be stored in the refrigerator for no longer than 3 days.

If I add Calming Care to refrigerated wet food and warm it slightly in the microwave, will that reduce effectiveness??

According to the manufacturer, warming the Calming Care some is okay. It is active up to a certain temperature. However, it is better to warm the food and then sprinkle the Calming Care on. The manufacturer does not recommend a microwave because the heat cannot be controlled as well.

Is this product safe to use on breeding females during pregnancy and after whelping??

Calming Care is a probiotic that contains active bacteria cultures, but no active medications. The manufacturer states that although there are no developmental studies in pregnant or nursing females, they state it is safe in dogs while pregnant or nursing. Please discuss with your veterinarian regarding use of Calming Care in your dog.

My kitten got into the box... Can they overdose??
