This medication has lessened the coughing spells.
From UndisclosedComments about Fluticasone (Generic) HFA 110 mcg, 120 Metered ActuationsPepper was diagnosed to have asthma after bouts of coughing and sneezing. X-rays were taken and evaluated confirmed it. Dr. Harcourt recommended Fluticasone HFA 110mcg, 1 spray twice a day on days that are difficult and once a day when symptoms are light. Pepper finally got used to the AeroKat inhaler that dispenses the Fluticasone. He has been on it since last spring and new x-rays indicated that inflammation has not advanced.-

This inhaler almost instantly stops/calms asthma attacks.
From UndisclosedComments about Fluticasone (Generic) HFA 110 mcg, 120 Metered ActuationsKiwi was recently diagnosed with asthma. He has terrible coughing fits that make him unable to breathe and absolutely miserable. It's very scary for everyone. We love our baby very much and hate to see him uncomfortable or in pain. His vet prescribed this inhaler and it is worth every sent. The inhaler stopped his asthma attack almost instantly. He was able to catch his breath much sooner. With regular use of the inhaler we don't have issues with him having asthma attacks. This has given us ans him the opportunity to live a normal and healthy life with our sweet baby boy.-

Hi I was using the flovent hfa fluticasone (125mcg) from canada and I am thinking of switching to this generic one(110mcg) from prasco , will it be any different than what I am using for my cat??
-
Fluticasone Propionate HFA Inhalation Aerosol is an FDA approved human label maintenance medication for asthma and is routinely used off-label in pets experiencing shortness of breath, coughing, and wheezing. Fluticasone 110 mcg inhaler delivers 125 mcg of fluticasone propionate aerosol from the valve per actuation but delivers 110 mcg from the actuator due to medication loss during delivery. Please speak to your veterinarian to determine if Fluticasone Propionate is recommended and appropriate for your pet’s needs.

when does it expire?

According to the manufacturer, the inhaler remains effective until the manufacturer's expiration date, which is printed on the packaging it comes in. As a reminder, the inhaler must be primed again if you have not used it in more than 7 days or if you have dropped it.
