How to apply? How long to wait before vacuuming afterwards??

First, remove all dust-sensitive equipment from room or cover with a sheet or plastic.Sprinkle powder lightly over carpeted areas focusing on one room at a time. Next, slowly brush powder into carpet with a push broom. Push forward to evenly distribute powder and then back and forth until no visible powder remains.
