Feliscratch for Cats
Scratching is a natural behavior for cats, but it can sometimes be destructive especially on household furniture. Feliscratch is a liquid pheromone that mimics the natural pheromones and marks left by scratching. When applied to a scratching post encourages cats to scratch there, instead of on valuable items. Feliscratch also contains catnip to help redirect the scratching where you want and correct inappropriate behavior. Ideal for single or multi-cat households. Available in packages of 9 applicators.
- Mimics natural cat pheromones
- Redirects scratching to the scratching post
- Helps modify behavior
- Contains catnip

i wouldn't buy this again.
From UndisclosedComments about FeliscratchI had purchased this in the hopes to get my cats to stop using the furniture & the doorframes in the house as their scratching posts, and to use the actual scratching posts to scratch on. at the most.. they investigated the painted on stripe i had put on the scratching posts.. but that was it, and they went right back to scratching where they always did. -
Not.
From undisclosedComments about FeliscratchDoesn't work. No stars. -
Unless I see a big change, I would not try it again.
From undisclosedComments about FeliscratchI put two doses on the scratching post and my cat hardly sniffed it. I was hopeful, but so far it hasn't worked for me. I'll keep trying. -
New Kitty Immune
From undisclosedComments about FeliscratchSome background: I adopted a three-year-old semiferal cat a few weeks ago. She's a sweet cat but I can barely touch her yet. She doesn't understand scratching posts and wants to use rugs instead of the posts I bought for her. I've tried everything. Really. Everything. Carpeted posts, sisal rope and woven sisal posts, cardboard posts, upright posts, posts on the floor. I've tried showing her how to scratch it by running my fingernails down the post. Since I can't pick her up, I can't put her by the post when she starts scratching the rug (recommended by several websites). She's completely immune to catnip. Immune to silver vine. Feliscratch says it works for 8 out of 10 cats. Unfortunately, Mocha is one of the two for whom it doesn't work. But I've given this product three stars for the following reasons: First, my two older cats are more interested in the scratching posts now than they were, so it does work with some cats. Second, every other Feliway product I've used during the new kitty's introduction to the household has worked beautifully; I'd give all of those five stars. I lightly mist the Feliway spray daily where I DON'T want her to scratch, and she doesn't scratch in those spots when I do that. The regular Feliway diffusers and multicat Feliway diffusers I put in the two rooms where the cats mainly hang out have worked perfectly, reducing stress and calming aggression. Feliway makes a terrific product and it's been extremely effective over the years for my cats. I just have a stubborn cat when it comes to scratching posts!
