What is Pinnaclife® Equine Wound Shield?
Pinnaclife’s equine (horse) product line includes an Equine Wound Shield, a wound protectant. This product forms a barrier between the wound and the environment and it also delivers helpful ingredients right to the wound surface. The Equine Wound Shield contains hydrocortisone, a topical steroid which reduces inflammation and itching. A unique ingredient, Olivamine 10® , is
a patented ingredient exclusive to Pinnaclife products containing B vitamins, amino acids, MSM and an antioxidant derived from olives. The Equine Wound Shield also contains chlorhexidine digluconate as an antiseptic. All these ingredients work together to aid wound healing, decrease the risk of infection, reduce inflammation, and reduce itching.
How should Pinnaclife® Equine Wound Shield be used?
The Equine Wound Shield should only be used under veterinarian approval or supervision. It should also only be used externally and on horses. Apply a thin coat to affected areas once daily or as directed by your horse’s veterinarian. Avoid contact with eyes and consult your horse’s veterinarian if condition persists or worsens.
What is Pinnaclife® Deterrent Wound Shield?
Pinnaclife’s equine (horse) product line includes a Deterrent Wound Shield which provides a protective barrier for wounds in horses. This barrier encourages wound healing by helping protect the wound from infection. The Deterrent Wound Shield provides key ingredients for wound healing right to the surface, including hydrocortisone and Olivamine 10® . Hydrocortisone is a topical steroid which reduces inflammation and itching. Olivamine 10® is a patented ingredient exclusive to Pinnaclife products which contains B vitamins, amino acids, MSM and an antioxidant derived from olives. Together, these ingredients promote wound healing, reduce inflammation, and decrease the risk of infection. The Deterrent Wound Shield also contains Denatonium Benzoate, a non-toxic bittering agent which helps prevent horses from biting and licking at their wound(s).
How should Pinnaclife® Deterrent Wound Shield be used?
The Deterrent Wound Shield is for use in horses only and should be used under veterinarian supervision or recommendation. Wear gloves while applying Deterrent Wound Shield and apply once daily or as directed by your veterinarian. Avoid contact with hands eyes, and mouth. If condition, redness, irritation or swelling persists or worsens, discontinue use and consult your horse’s veterinarian.
