  • Side effects are rare if the drug is given by mouth, but loss of appetite, drooling (in cats), vomiting, lethargy (lack of energy),
    and diarrhea are possible.

How do you use Drontal?

  • Give as directed by your veterinarian.
  • Give this medication directly or mix it with food.
  • Manufacturer's suggested use: Cats 2 to 3 lbs, 1/2 tablet once. Cats 4 to 8 lbs, 1 tablet once. Cats 9 to 12lbs, 1 and 1/2 tablets once. Cats 13 to 16lbs, 2 tablets once.
