We use Vetrxdirect for all our pets needs. We recently ordered Diclofnac Sodium because our dog Libby is a diabetic and also is blind. We order from Vetrxdirect
because we know that our order will get to us in a timely manner and the price is always right. I would recommend Vetrxdirect to everyone who has a pet. The Diclofnac sodium keeps Libbys eyes from getting any other disease in her eyes and it is very gently on her eyes.

Not sure if it's helping
I had a cataract removed from my pup's eye less than a year ago. It's already coming back. This med is for inflammation though and he doesn't seem to be uncomfortable.

My dog was given the eye drops at the vet. Six hours later she started vomiting and it continued all night. That was 3 days ago. Since then she has been lethargic and won't eat. She is drinking some. Could this be a reaction to the drops? Vet said no, but I'm not so sure as my dog has had reactions to drugs in the past.?
-
While it is possible that some of the drug is absorbed into the body, most of the drug will not be absorbed. This is likely not due to the eye drops. When a dog experiences side effects from this medication, it is more likely limited to the eye such as eye irritation or watering rather than experiencing a side effect elsewhere, like nausea or vomiting. Please contact your dog's veterinarian for additional questions about the use of this medication in your dog.
