These capsules help to keep my dog healthy
From Phoenix, AZComments about Denamarin TabletsMy veterinarian prescribed this medication for Rosie. I give it to her embedded in about 1/2 teaspoon of smooth peanut butter. She is not aware of the capsule being in there and she looks forward to it every night.-

Glad to find Denamarin at a good price.
From Groveland, FLComments about Denamarin TabletsI agree that my dog, a lab hates the flavor and was seeking out the pill and spitting it out until I tried baby food turkey and chicken in the little jars. I use a baby spoon and bury the pill in the meat. She gobbles it up and does even notice even the pill. We do it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Now she runs to the spot where the pills are and waits for the treat. Give it a try, and, yes, Denamarin is making a difference in her blood work - a real God send. -

Just what the vet ordered but cheaper.
From UndisclosedComments about Denamarin Tablets All Sizes of Dogs, 75ctI started ordering Denanarin after my vet prescribed it for my 11 year old mini schnauzer. I was getting it from the vets office but then realized I could probably get it cheaper online. That's when I found Vetrxdirect. It was half the price I paid at the vets office. Now I order it from Vetrxdirect only. It is the same and comes within a few days. I'm very happy with their service. Plus my dog gets a treat in the box also.-

My cat has a chicken allergy (possibly to all poultery and eggs, not sure) and developed skin inflammation after taking this supplement. His diet does not currently include any chicken so I am trying to determine the cause. Do the inactive ingredients contain any poultry or egg proteins??

The manufacturer informed that the Denamarin chewables contain Hydrolyzed chicken flavoring. The Denamarin solid tablets do not contain any chicken ingredients or flavorings. The chewable Denamarin tablets are also recommended to be used in dogs and the Denamarin solid tablets are recommended for cats. I have a cat that is about 21 pounds could I use the denamarin for large dogs. for my cat thank you.?
-
The Denamarin for Cats and Small Dogs tablets are recommended for cats because of their small tablet size and contain 90mg of the active ingredient S-Adenosylmethionine. For animals weighing over 12 lbs the labeled daily dosage is 1 tablet twice daily. The large dog Denamarin is recommended for animals weighing at least 35 lbs and over, has a larger tablet size, and contains 425 mg of S-Adenosylmethionine. The medium dog Denamarin is recommended for animals weighing 13 to 34 lbs and contains 225mg of S-Adenosylmethionine. We recommend talking with your veterinarian to determine which size product and dose is safe for your cat, and if you can move up the medium size.

What is the dosage for large dogs - I am assuming more than 1 chewable correct??
-
It depends on how much the dog weighs. Anything over 30 pounds will be at least 1 1/2 tablets. If you look at the product page on the website, there is a tab called "Package Insert", that link will open a new window which contains all the dosage instructions. Thank you, VetRxDirect
