What is CrossBlock II for Dogs?
- CrossBlock II is a topical flea treatment for dogs that kills adult fleas as well as their eggs and larvae.
- It contains Imidacloprid and Pyriproxyfen, which start killing fleas within 2 hours and continue to work for 1 full month of protection.
- CrossBlock II also prevents re-infestation of fleas by breaking the life cycle and preventing fleas from reproducing.

- Your veterinarian may recommend CrossBlock II to prevent and control fleas.
What else should I know about CrossBlock II?
- Waterproof formula.
- Easy open, individual dose applicators.
- Not effective against ticks.
What problems could my dog have with CrossBlock II?
- For dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age or older weighing at least 3 lbs.
- Do not let your dog or other pets lick or groom the treated area until it has dried (takes about 30 minutes).

If nothing else has worked, try this.
The key ingredient to be aware of is imidacloprid. I've tried a lot of different monthly topicals on our dog, including a few expensive brands, and none of them has worked as well as the Crossblock II. If fipronil or pyrethrins are not working on your dog, give the Crossblock a try.

Mixed Results
Seemingly effective for awhile, but lately the bugs have been returning within a couple of weeks of application. Maybe it's just an especially high flea load this year, and it has nothing to do with the manufacturing, age, storage, or transit of the product. Or with a local pocket of resistance to it's chemistry. But I am tempted to temporarily go back to the brand, or switch actives, to see if it makes any difference. And maybe try an appropriate premises spray, with care to avoid harming our semi-adopted stray kitties.

So Far, Good
From OregonComments about CrossBlock II for DogsWhether in a cat size or dog size, CrossBlock II seems to be about as close as one can get to the Advantage II flea-only product. Even the carrying agents appear similar, and it's made in Germany like the stuff made for Bayer. But at substantially lower cost, it's more $ saved toward decent nutrition and future veterinary care. -

We also have TWO 5 week old cat litters= 11 KITTENS ...that needed treatment at the same time...OUCH! Their prices really fit our budget......will definitely buy here again!
