CLINICARE Liquid Diets for Cats and Dogs
What is Clinicare: Clinicare is a liquid meal replacement for adult weight maintenance in dogs and cats intended for use under veterinarian recommendation only. It meets the requirements under AAFCO recommendations for dogs and cats. The calorie distribution is 30% protein, 45% fat, and 25% carbohydrate. It also contains a variety of vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes.
How should Clinicare be used: It is essential that you get a recommended volume to administer to your pet from your pet's veterinarian because they will best know your pet’s dietary needs. It is also important to shake the can of Clinicare vigorously for 15 seconds prior to opening and to reusing. The manufacturer’s guidelines for administering are listed below. After opening each can of Clinicare, it should be covered and kept in the refrigerator. Unused cans can be stored at room temperature. Any open can should be discarded after seven days to avoid contamination.

Clinicare RF for Cats:
How is Clinicare RF different from Clinicare: Clinicare RF is for cats only and is intended for cats who have renal impairment. This is because it is formulated with lower protein and electrolytes. The calorie breakdown of the RF formulation is 22% protein, 56% fat, and 22% carbohydrates. The feeding rates for Clinicare RF are listed below. These are the manufacturer’s recommendations and your cat’s veterinarian should make the ultimate decision on how much you should give.

From Montana, USAComments about CliniCareI ordered roughly a dozen cans of this expensive product and while it arrived in a timely manner more than half the cans came severely dented and damaged. They could have been damaged in shipping but this is doubtful as each can was individually wrapped in bubble wrap which is good, however that means they shipped them damaged which is worse. It makes me worry about the seals and the safety of using the product. For the price of this product that is inexcusable. I will not order from this company again due to the condition of the product they shipped and the condition of the product upon arrival. Enclosed are just a couple photos of a few of the damaged cans that arrived.-

Simply Amazing Product...

He was losing weight quick and not getting the nutrition he body needed. I found this liquid diet and thought we would give it a shot. Pros: 1. My cat LOVES the taste of it. He literally meow attacks me until I give it to him. 2. He has put back on some of his weight! Its only been about a month, but already he looks so much better. He is back to a healthy weight. 3. My cat's energy level has increased because he is getting the nutrition he needs... Cons: 1. The can size is very small.. And I can't find a larger size.. 2. Its not sold anywhere locally - and shipping weight is expensive... 3. My cat is now an addict, and I'm afraid of the consequences I might face if I don't give it to him... -

My Cat Liked It, For a While

I only bought 1 or 2 to begin with because of how picky my little girl can be. Turns out she loved it! But only for a little while. But if it wasn't for this product, I'm pretty sure that she might not still be here with me today (along with extensive fluid treatments, as well). I bought both blue and yellow cans, she had no real preference. I would recommend this product for ANY renal failure parents out there!
