If the peroxide is the effective ingredient, can more be added for a better effect.I have used a 16oz bottle with very little results to none.?

Gene, Benzoyl peroxide is a topical treatment option for a variety of skin diseases. Increasing the concentration of the drug won’t necessarily have improved outcomes but instead may just increase adverse effects associated with this medication. We recommend contacting your pet's veterinarian to discuss your pet’s health issues as well as possible alternative drug therapies that may be more effective. Thank you, VetRxDirect

My male dog has stud tail. He has hair loss on his tail and it looks really bad. He's had it for 6 months or so. Now another one of my dogs seems to be getting it. Someone suggested Benzoyl-Plus shampoo. Will this help treat stud tail??
-
Judy, This product may be helpful, as it would remove oily secretions on the dog’s skin and coat and reduce the chance of infection, but it is necessary to contact your veterinarian and have the dog examined before beginning any treatment. Thank you, VetRxDirect
