Product palatability
From UndisclosedComments about Amino B+K 4oz (120mL)How are you to know if your Pet will "willingly" allow to be dosed, No Returns if Opened. That should be Disclosed BEFORE PURCHASE!!!! Buyer BEWARE -
Great!
From UndisclosedComments about Amino B+K 4oz (120mL)Not sure why this doesn't need a prescription since it has rx amount potassium in it, but the stuff seems to work. My 14 yo cat came down with hyperkalemia in November and had been taking that jelly gel supplement. After a few months, he started to refuse it (due to texture) so this was the next best alternative for his potassium supplement. I'm really happy with this product though. My cat doesn't love it, but it doesn't gag him either...he kind of makes that face like you when you just drank gross cough syrup. He seems to have a bit more energy too, so that's good. Overall I'd recommend this product if your pet's already on a potassium supplement, but be sure to check with your vet about possible drug interactions with the added ingredients in this. -
Purchased for my Chronic Kidney disease kitty
From UndisclosedComments about Amino B+KMy vet recommended this product for my Chronic Kidney disease kitty. She seems to like the taste. I drop it on her food & she eats it all up. VetRxDirect has super fast delivery. Love that! -
My cat approves of this product!
From UndisclosedComments about Amino B+KFirst introduced to this product by my vet, this supplement has made a huge difference in my 17 year old cat's well being. From death's door with an infection and a diagnosis of stage 2 CKD, she has made a great recovery, is eating well again. She is back to the energy levels of her younger days - not a kitten, or a young adult level, but a very happy senior kitty level. Not least of the virtues of Amino B&K is that she LIKES the taste and looks forward to having it put on her food 3 times a day. VetRXDirect has the best price for this product - especially if you buy it in multiples to get the free shipping.

According to the manufacturer’s product label, the directions for use are 2ml per each 10 lbs of body weight 1 to 3 times daily. Based on these directions, this would include a cat weighing under 10lbs. The dose will also depend on the degree of potassium deficiency as recommended by your veterinarian.
