  • The product is bitter tasting, and salivation may occur for a short time if the dog licks the product immediately after treatment. 

How do you use Advantage II for Dogs?

  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after handling.
  • Treatment at the base of the skull will minimize the opportunity for the dog to lick the product. 
  • Do not allow the product to run off.
  • How to open the package: Be sure the tube is at the bottom of the pouch. Using scissors, cut the pouch across the top and remove the tube.
  • How to apply: Remove the applicator tube from the package. Hold the applicator tube in an upright position facing away from you and your pet's face and ears. Pull cap off tube. Turn cap around and place other end of cap back on tube. Twist cap to break seal, the remove cap from tube. Part the hair on the neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube to expel the entire contents directly on the skin. For dogs 21lbs and over: Appy the entire contents of the tube evenly to three of four spots on the top of the back from the shoulder to the base of the tail. Discard empty tube as described.
