I want to use this product on my dogs foot between the toes. Should she wear a collar because she keeps licking the affected area??
-
Tresaderm contains an antibiotic, antifungal, as well as a corticosteroid to treat certain ear and skin disorders. Because of the ingredients, ingestion of this medication should be prevented. If your dog is licking the area, a collar would be appropriate to keep her from ingesting it.

Can tresaderm be used near a cat's mouth or on the chin? My cat was prescribed tresaderm for her ears, but I was told that this product is a good medication for a variety of skin infections. She currently has a rash on her chin.?
-
TRESADERM is a prescription medication indicated as an aid in the treatment of certain bacterial, mycotic, and inflammatory dermatoses and otitis externa in dogs and cats. The active ingredients are Thiabendazole, Neomycin sulfate and Dexamethasone. Avoid getting this medication in your pet's eyes, nose, or mouth. Consult with your veterinarian to determine if this medication can be used on your cat's chin and how often to apply it. Inappropriate use of antibiotics will lead to suboptimal treatment outcomes or drug resistance. Please contact your veterinarian for further assessment to decide the best medication option for your cat. Thank you, VetRxDirect

I'm watching my sisters cat who has earmites. The medicine says e ery 12 hrs but I can't always get there in that time frame. Can I give a dose and then 7 hours later??
-
It is important to use the medication as directed by the veterinarian. Applying this medication more frequently than prescribed can lead to side-effects such as increased redness/inflammation of the ear or thinning of the skin in the ear canal. It would be best to dose the medication as close as possible to every 12 hours and no more frequently than two times in 24 hours. If you are having difficulty following these recommendations, we recommend following-up with the veterinarian. The veterinarian must approve that this medication be dosed more frequently, or at shorter intervals (i.e., every 8 hours). Thank you, VetRxDirect
