Drontal Plus contains three active ingredients (praziquantel, pyrantel pamoate and febantel) that work together to eliminate worms. This medication can only be prescribed by a licensed veterinarian. Doses for Drontal Plus are based on the weight of the dogs. There are three different weight-based formulations - puppies/small dogs, medium sized dogs, and large dogs. Puppies and small dogs (2-25lbs) will require between ½ and 2 ½ tablets. Medium sized dogs (26-60lbs) will require between 1-2 tablets. Large dogs (45lbs or greater) will require 1-2 tablets.
