Can I spray this on my dogs paws she is licking the hair off of them?

According to the manufacturer, it is common for dogs to lick the site of application as it is the dogs first instinct to lick when there is something new on them. The manufacturer recommends to do an activity with your dog right after application to distract them from licking. Activities could be anything from taking your dog on a walk to playing ball. The activity should distract the dog for about 3-5 minutes to ensure the DermaCool is absorbed into the dogs paw, then your dog will get the treatment form the DermaCool that it is supposed to.
